Andrea Ferreira '26

Biography

Andrea Ferreira is a senior from Caracas, Venezuela, studying accounting with minors in history and Russian. As a part of the Balfour-Hesburgh Scholars Program, she spent the summer before her freshman year on campus, taking classes and meeting her first community from the school. During her freshman year summer, she was in Miami, Florida, volunteering with the Mexican American Council in their pre-college program that helps prepare first-generation high schoolers who live in migrant labor camps.

Her Notre Dame journey has allowed her to travel abroad, with her sophomore summer being spent in Lublin, Poland through the Service (in) Europe service-learning program funded by the Nanovic Institute, where she worked with children victims of family abuse. She was also part of the Deloitte International Business Scholars with which she traveled to Poland, learning more about how business is conducted in other parts of the world. Andrea studied abroad in India her junior summer and returned to her current home in Orlando, Florida where interned in audit at PwC, where she will be returning after graduation to work as a first-year associate.
