Drew Hemmesch '28

Biography

Andrew Hemmesch ’28 is a strategic management and economics double major with a minor in sociology from Minneapolis, Minnesota. During the summer of 2025, Andrew worked as an accounting intern at Hatfield Properties, working directly alongside an accounting manager to organize monthly rent and credit statements as well as manage accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, Andrew has been consistently involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, previously serving as the student leadership committee chair for the Minneapolis chapter. He is also involved with the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation and the Notre Dame Club of Minnesota as a current scholarship recipient.

Alongside his involvement in the Sheedy Family Program, Andrew is involved in the Student International Business Council. Here, he has gained first-hand experience in the accounting, consulting, and financial fields. By working with multiple firms such as KPMG and J.P. Morgan to investigate business issues relating to the growth of artificial intelligence and transformed business processes, he has developed project management and team-building skills. Andrew is engaged in his position as a student caller with NDListens, where he has the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversation with Notre Dame alumni, parents, and friends as a part of a team-oriented student engagement group. He is also involved in the Model United Nations Club and multiple business-focused mentorship groups where he has gained valuable leadership and communication skills. Andrew looks forward to the opportunities within the Sheedy Family Program to make a meaningful impact on society while discerning his own interests within his education.
