Biography

Daniella Morales-Garibay ‘28 is an Economics major with minors in Latino Studies and Data Science from South Bend, Indiana. In the summer of 2025, she interned in Washington, D.C. as a Research and Policy Fellow for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), where she analyzed proposed federal rules and drafted comment letters addressing civil rights violations and economic inequality. She has also conducted housing policy research through the Student Policy Network, analyzing gaps in retaliation protections for tenants.
On campus, Daniella serves as president of Ballet Folklorico Azul y Oro, through which she oversees event planning, fundraising, and collaborations that promote cultural awareness through traditional Mexican dance. She is also a Moreau Peer Leader for first-year students, a core team member of Latino Student Ministry, a member of Women in Economics, and tutors K-5 children at La Casa de Amistad in math and English.
