Nathan Ward '28

Biography

Nathan Ward ‘28 is from Maple Grove, Minnesota, and is double majoring in Strategic Management and Organ Performance with a minor in Liturgical Music. Nathan serves as director of music for his dorm community in Graham Family Hall, pianist/organist for other liturgies across campus and in Minnesota, and a member of the Notre Dame Liturgical Choir. Nathan has also been an independent piano teacher since 2018 and is currently serving as the inaugural president of the collegiate chapter of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association. In recognition of his students’ success on state piano exams and competitions, he was the 2024 recipient of the Minnesota Music Teachers Foundation Student of the Year Award. Nathan is also a strong advocate for community outreach and leadership: he represents Graham Family Hall in the Notre Dame Student Senate and serves as a leader of retreat and small group opportunities for first-year students through Campus Ministry.
