Ben Eppich '28

Biography

Ben Eppich ‘28 is an American Studies major from Dallas, Tx, minoring in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has worked for the Jubilee Initiative for Financial Inclusion (JIFFI), a non-profit that provides interest free loans to local residents of South Bend, since September 2024. He currently serves as the Vice President of Community Relations, a position that requires him to lead a team dedicated to establishing and maintaining close relationships with South Bend community partners. Ben also has experience in research as he served as a Research Assistant for Professor Jennefir Huynh during the Fall of 2025. His research focused on the impact and history of rent control policies in Orange County, California. The work involved exploring both scholarly sources and government documents, primarily focusing on the organizing of minority groups in relation to rent control.
Ben is also involved with Notre Dame Student Media, writing for a number of publications including Scholastic and The Student Section. He also has worked as a radio broadcaster for Football games at the University of Notre Dame. Starting in the Fall of 2025, Ben began working as an editor for the American Studies Journal, Americana, at the University of Notre Dame.
