Biography
Bruce Alvarez '28 from Miami, Florida, is double-majoring in Finance and Studio Art with a concentration in painting. He has chased his entrepreneurial and culinary passions at Notre Dame through founding Bubba’s Burritos, a late-night food and delivery service. His finance experience includes an internship at Huerta Chemical Corp., where he built Excel pricing models and observed strategic acquisition discussions, and served as an analyst with the Student International Business Council's Morgan Stanley Strategic Advisory Travel Team, creating financial models for corporate acquisitions.
Bruce combines business acumen with creative pursuits which help his community through "Little Cut," his published cookbook featuring Cuban-inspired recipes, with proceeds going to Breakthrough Miami, where he also served as a Teaching Fellow in high school. On campus, he is involved with Bengal Bouts, the Notre Dame Investment Club, the Wall Street Club, and SIBC. He is exploring opportunities in investment banking, private equity, private credit, and venture capital.
