Biography

Caroline Mezzalingua '28, from Skaneateles, New York, majors in Political Science with minors in Foundations of Business, Marketing (analytics track), French, and the Glynn Family Honors Program. In addition to the Sheedy Family Program, Caroline is the business director and marketing assistant for Beyond the Dome, an anchor for NDTV, a discussion leader with BridgeUSA, and has been involved as a team analyst in Student Consulting for Non-Profits. This year, she is working on a semester-long project with the McKenna Center for Human Development and Global Business as a student consultant for two South Bend entrepreneurs.


Caroline enjoys public speaking, writing, debate, research, cultural exploration, and creative problem solving. She has applied these interests in a variety of ways, from creating and publishing a weekly column for her Catholic church, where she explored the art historical influences in the church’s architecture and readings, to studying contemporary French culture and identity in Paris through Notre Dame’s Study Abroad program. Looking ahead, she hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of communications, business, and global affairs, with particular interests in marketing, consulting, and public relations.
