Biography

Daniel Mathy is a member of the class of 2028 from Denver, Colorado, double-majoring in Marketing in Mendoza College of Business and Economics in the College of Arts and Letters.

 
On campus, Daniel serves as an inaugural Peer Ambassador for the Moreau First-Year Program, managing digital storytelling and coordinating events to improve first-year engagement. He is actively involved in the Student International Business Council, having been on projects with Ogilvy and Nielsen, and is currently co-leading the Eli Lilly Marketing project. In this role, he oversees team deliverables, communicates with company contacts, and guides team members through research and strategy development. Daniel is the head grillmaster for Morrissey Hall and a line cook for Yaz’s, the dorm’s barbecue restaurant, where he channels his passion for cooking. He spent the summer before his sophomore year abroad in Ireland studying investment theory, an experience where he explored new perspectives and connected with people and culture beyond South Bend.


Daniel is passionate about exploring human behavior and strategy and is interested in applying these themes across business, leadership, and policy while continuing to learn and grow.
