Electra Vaitsas '26

Biography

Electra Vaitsas is a Sheedy Family Program scholar at the University of Notre Dame, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Financial Economics and Econometrics. She is also minoring in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and French & Francophone Studies.

On campus, Electra serves as the Career Community Leader for the Finance, Business, and Marketing communities in Beyond the Dome, guiding over 800 students in their personal and professional development. Through her leadership, she provides guidance on resume building and interview preparation and creates opportunities for hands-on learning, connecting students with industry leaders and organizing events that bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world practice.

Electra’s initiative, the BEAM Program, reflects her commitment to empowering Arts & Letters students by equipping them with critical financial skills such as financial modeling and stock valuation—tools often underrepresented in liberal arts education.

Electra gained experience at IBM Consulting, analyzing client data with GenAI platforms to inform pricing. At Gordon Food Services, as an intern and now financial analyst, she developed profitability models and automated forecasts, leading a team to win a business case competition with a growth strategy. These roles have sharpened her financial analysis and strategic planning skills.

Electra’s aspirations lie in consulting and finance, where she aims to drive transformative change by blending technology with strategic financial insight. With a passion for global business and proficiency in multiple languages, she is committed to leveraging her diverse skills to deliver impactful solutions in the industry.
