Biography

Michael Zang is a junior from Toronto, Canada, studying Computer Science and Business Economics. He is currently focused on exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, data analysis, and business. During the summer of 2024, he interned at Lenovo Research AI Lab, utilizing machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and provide stock insights. Michael is considering research positions and plans to pursue a master’s degree. On campus, Michael is involved in the STEM division of the Student International Business Council (SIBC), where he has contributed to projects with Amazon, PwC, and BOSCH. Through these initiatives, he has developed technical problem-solving and strategic analysis skills. He is also a part of CS For Good, working with the Dismas House of Indiana, a non-profit organization dedicated to reintegrating former prison members into society. In the future, Michael aims to apply his expertise in data science and machine learning to drive innovation in the tech industry.
