Biography

Nathaniel (Nate) Butler '27 is from Long Island, New York, studying Strategic Management and Spanish with a minor in Anthropology. Butler works on campus as a Sports Performance Assistant for Varsity Strength and Conditioning. In this position, he works closely with athletic staff to monitor testing protocol and adjust training methods to increase injury prevention. Butler also works for the Mendoza College of Business as the Powerful Means Initiative's Undergraduate Marketing Assistant. He works closely with faculty, staff and students at Notre Dame and at Saint Bakhita's Vocational Training Center in Uganda to improve marketing efficiency. He had the opportunity to travel to Uganda during his sophomore year to conduct ethnographic research, work as an impact consultant, and collect marketing/communications content. Nate also works closely with St. Bakhita's by leading the Innovation for Impact club's marketing vertical. 

Butler is passionate about careers in consulting, aviation, or service and is eager to utilize his Spanish skills in the workforce. He has recently spent his summers interning at Flexjet, a a fractional aviation company in Ohio, and volunteering as an English teacher in Costa Rica!
