Emily Chang '25

Biography

Emily Chang, a senior from Virginia, is majoring in Finance and Economics with a minor in Actuarial Science. Her academic and career interests span financial mathematics, financial economics, and consulting. Driven by her intellectual curiosity and desire for meaningful career discernment, she joined the Sheedy Family Program in Spring 2023. In addition to the Sheedy Family Program, Emily is currently on the fencing team and serves as an economics tutor for the Learning Resource Center. She has also been involved in business organizations on campus, including the Student International Business Council and MoneyThink, where she taught financial literacy to high school students weekly.

After graduation, Emily will return to Deloitte, where she interned in their Advisory practice last summer. At Deloitte, she contributed to a finance transformation project for a large telecommunications client. Her internship allowed her to build valuable teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation skills, all of which she looks forward to further developing in her professional career.
