Biography
Joey Kositzke is an American Studies graduate with minors in Business Economics and Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation. On campus, he was involved with a variety of student organizations that range from the Student Union's Executive Cabinet to pastoral leadership as a Resident Assistant through Notre Dame's Office of Residential Life. Beyond Notre Dame, Kositzke's work and volunteer experiences in South Bend, the field of American Studies, and abroad developed critical thinking skills, an ability to work in a variety of teams, and enhanced his appreciation for the viewpoints of others during his time as an undergraduate. With a focus in experiential learning, his collegiate work and learning experiences encompassed a wide variety from service in the Idaho Conservation Corps to consulting work in Cape Town through Notre Dame's Entrepreneurship Empowerment in South Africa program. After graduation, Kositzke is serving one year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Asturias, Spain, before pursuing a career in educational policy. In his professional and personal life, Kositzke continues to embrace collecting experiences that will allow him to uplift other communities through his own communities.
