Biography

Sophia Salatino is a Junior studying Finance and Political Science with a minor in Poverty Studies from the suburbs of Chicago. Currently, Salatino is studying abroad in Athens, Greece, where she is excited to experience new cultures while traveling in Europe. This past summer, Salatino worked as a Private Equity Intern for Midwest Mezzanine Funds, an investment firm in Chicago, as a member of the Small Business Investing Scholars cohort. She looks forward to interning with TD Securities in the bank's New York City office during the summer of 2025 in its Debt Capital Markets group.

On campus, Salatino is involved with the Student Union Board, Student International Business Council, Welsh Family Hall Council, Intramural Flag Football, and is a Center for Social Concerns Residential Representative. She also spent two months living in El Salvador through the NDBridge Program, where she worked in remote communities to help lessen the impact of the cycle of poverty.
