Biography

Ted Cahill ’28, originally from Columbus, OH, is majoring in Finance and minoring in Music and Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation. He has cultivated a holistic understanding of his major through SIBC projects, which have included work in private credit, restructuring, and investment banking. These experiences, along with pitches in the Investment Club, have enabled him to develop a deep understanding of both the technical intricacies of finance and the broader economic forces affecting the world.

Additionally, one of Ted’s primary interests lies in social entrepreneurship. Since last year, he has worked as a Research Assistant at the McKenna Center for Human Development and Global Business to develop the South Bend Entrepreneurship and Adversity Program and to assist the Urban Poverty and Business Initiative in identifying strategic partnerships as it expands into the entrepreneurial ecosystems of the 13 cities hosting the 2026 World Cup.
