Biography

This past summer, Will served as a consulting intern at a local firm, supporting South Bend–based start-ups in expanding their visibility and attracting new investors. On campus, Will manages the finances and operations of his dorm’s grill business, where he develops strategies for budgeting, scheduling, and maximizing efficiency. Looking ahead, Will plans to study abroad in Madrid, where he hopes to deepen his understanding of international politics and strengthen his fluency in Spanish. Grounded in service and community, Will is passionate about social issues such as prison rehabilitation, child advocacy, and addressing cyclical homelessness. He has represented Dismas House, a South Bend nonprofit that houses and employs formerly incarcerated individuals, at the National Philanthropy Conference. Additionally, his work as an AmeriCorps member involved tutoring underprivileged children in English and math, an experience that further shaped his commitment to equity and opportunity. In the future, Will seeks to combine his interests in government, public service, and business development to create solutions that drive both social impact and economic growth.
