Biography

Ava Vignola ‘29 is a Finance Major with a minor in Theology, originally from Coral Springs, Florida. She is especially interested in how a Catholic Theological Perspective can lead to innovative business practices and solutions. After graduation, Ava hopes to pursue a career in Investment Banking.

In Ava’s free time, she competes as an award-winning attorney on Notre Dame’s Mock Trial Team, where she works alongside her friends and travels around the country for tournaments on weekends. She is a member of the Student International Business Council, where she builds her finance knowledge and works on semester-long case studies under top banks including Perella Weinberg Partners, Truist, and Fidelity. Ava is also a God & the Good Life Fellow, where she leads a weekly dialogue with students surrounding philosophy.

Ava is the senator for her dorm, Badin Hall (go bullfrogs!), and last year served as the chair of the Finance Board for the First Year Class Council. She also serves as a theology mentor in her dorm for Freshman students, leading a weekly discussion about Faith and diving deep into theological readings. Ava runs an anonymous advice column for her local newspaper in South Florida, writing to high school students.
