Biography
Beata Knurowski '28 is a double major in Strategic Management and Psychology with a minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Originally from Chicago, her academic interests sit at the intersection of business strategy, human behavior, and social impact. She's particularly interested in how organizations can grow while creating meaningful value for the people and communities they serve. Beata has been recognized nationally for her work in ethics, advancing with her team to the finals of a national ethics competition, and she was invited to speak at Notre Dame's de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture conference as an undergrad.
Beata has pursued her interests abroad, studying the law and politics of genocide in Poland and mental health and public psychology in Mexico City, with a semester in London to follow. On campus, Beata lives in Flaherty Hall, where she channels that same interest in community-building into leadership roles: she is an officer for Notre Dame's Polish Club, helping sustain a growing cultural community, and represents her class through Notre Dame's Student Government Communications Team. She also advises first-generation and low-income students nationally through Matriculate, guiding them through college applications and financial aid decisions.
Professionally, Beata has taken on a range of roles across marketing, sales, business development, and strategic analysis. She's rebranding a Nashville media company's social presence, and, as part of Notre Dame’s Student International Business Council, she worked on a Microsoft project evaluating strategic opportunities in AI infrastructure and data center expansion. She has also worked in business development at Runwayz, supporting partnerships that connect students with early-career opportunities. She is drawn to entrepreneurship and hopes to carry this combination of strategic rigor and people-first thinking into building new ventures.
