Biography

Hayleen Pierrissaint '29 is a Psychology major with minors in Impact Consulting and Korean from Hampton, Georgia. On campus, Hayleen works as a research assistant in the SPIEL Lab and as a Marketing Intern with the Notre Dame Police Department. She also serves as an Advising Fellow with Matriculate, mentoring high school students as they navigate the college application process.

During the summer of 2026, Hayleen spent two months in Hong Kong through Notre Dame’s Global Professional Experience. While there, she had the opportunity to work closely with the CEO of her host organization, sit in on client meetings, and see more of what goes on behind the scenes of running a business. Living and working in Hong Kong also sparked her interest in how business and workplace dynamics can look different across cultures.

Hayleen’s interests lie at the intersection of psychology and business, specifically the people side of organizations. She hopes to pursue a career in industrial-organizational psychology or consulting, where she can help organizations place a greater emphasis on their people while still meeting their larger business goals. She is also interested in how this work translates across global contexts and hopes to continue exploring that throughout her time at Notre Dame and beyond.
