Biography

Isabela Egidio '29 is originally from Goiânia, Goiás, Brazil, and is double-majoring in Business Analytics and Theology as a Stamps Scholar at Notre Dame. For Isabela, coursework isn't separate from purpose, which is reflected in her participation in both the Business Honors Program and the Sheedy Family Program. She's driven by the belief that meaning comes through serving others, and she picks up skills along the way so she has more to offer the people around her.

She spent a summer in Cape Town, South Africa, through the EESA Program, consulting for entrepreneurs living below the poverty line and helping them build toward longer-term financial stability. She's also a research assistant at Notre Dame's Lab for AI in Teaching and Learning (LAITL), where she studies how artificial intelligence is reshaping the way students and faculty engage with education.

On campus, Isabela is an active member of Campus Nutrition and the Social Committee, and she's part of SIBC, where she has served on both the consulting and travel committees, working with firms including L.E.K. and McKinsey & Company. She won Notre Dame's McPartlin Award for a piece on how the pau-brasil tree shaped Brazil's economic system. Isabela is particularly interested in consulting and technology, and hopes to carry her international perspective and sense of purpose into whatever she pursues next.
