Biography

Madeline “Maddie” Bozzelli ’29 is an English and Spanish double major with a minor in Marketing. She is interested in the intersection of storytelling, language, culture, and business, particularly how organizations use communication and marketing to connect with diverse audiences. Maddie studied abroad in Santiago, Chile, where she strengthened her Spanish proficiency through coursework and cultural immersion. Through the Sheedy Family Program, she hopes to explore how her liberal arts education and interest in business can prepare her for meaningful work in marketing and communications.

At Notre Dame, Maddie has developed her marketing and communications interests through several leadership roles in Breen-Phillips Hall. She manages social media content highlighting hall events, traditions, and residents; helps develop merchandise that builds community identity and supports fundraising; and creates and co-authors the hall’s inaugural newsletter to connect students, families, and alumni. Maddie also serves as a career ambassador for Arts & Letters students, teaches group fitness classes through RecSports, designs and writes for the DOME yearbook, and leads worship and small-group discussions with Delight Ministries. Across these experiences, she enjoys using communication, creativity, and leadership to build community and connect people.
