Biography
Madeline Owens is a sophomore from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and is majoring in both the Program of Liberal Studies (PLS) and Art History, while minoring in Finance.
During the summer of 2026, she participated in the Creative Design study and internship program in Milan, Italy, where she explored the importance of ethical and sustainable practices in the fashion industry. In addition, she interned with an independent art advisor in New York City, where she learned the fundamentals of collection management, provenance documentation, and artist research, while also helping shape the advisory's social media content strategy.
On campus, she is involved in the Raclin Murphy’s PhotoFutures student acquisition group for Notre Dame’s first-ever Biennale (she is very excited). This is her second year as an ambassador for Petite Plume’s College Collective program, and over the summer she had the pleasure of visiting the NYC office and meeting the team. She is a passionate writer for the Observer’s Scene section and a student General Manager for the College Mentor for Kids chapter.
Madeline is a dedicated and passionate student devoted to continuing to develop her career with a strong foundation in the liberal arts. Drawing on her studies, she hopes to continue to forge a path, weaving all of these pieces together to build a career full of authenticity, curiosity, and passion.
