I am an Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of Student Engagement in the Sheedy Family Program in Economy, Enterprise, and Society. I lead the Sheedy Business Explorers program and coordinate experiential learning opportunities for all Sheedy students.
My goal as a scholar and instructor is to cultivate moral imagination. I specialize in developing courses that help students clarify and live out their values, and I write about ethics, communication, and influence for scholarly journals and popular publications. I am the co-author of the book O’Hara’s Heirs: Business Education at Notre Dame, and I am working on a book tentatively titled What Good Means: The Moral Imagination of Gerard Manley Hopkins.
Prior to joining the Sheedy Family Program, I spent three years with Notre Dame Research and six years with the Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership in the Mendoza College of Business.
I live in South Bend, Indiana, with my wife, Anne, and our three children.
